The company was founded in 2003 by the pharmaceutical company Hemofarm, with the primary idea that part of the existing IT services in Hemofarm is outsourced to HITeam and that these services are offered to other users. The roots of the whole idea lie in 1999, when HemoNET, the first Internet provider in Vršac, started working within Hemofarm.

In the period from 2003 to 2011, HITeam became a regional IT leader from a company that worked exclusively for the needs of Hemofarm. It becomes an HP Gold Partner, Microsoft MAPS and SPLA Partner, and an Internet provider with a RATEL license and a turnover of over 1 million Euros. All this influenced the decision of E-Smart Systems to become a 100% owner of HITeam DOO at the end of 2011. With ESS, HITeam gained access to new technologies, especially in the field of information protection (Information System Security), financial and professional support. This way both companies increase their portfolio of services, which increases their market competitiveness.

In 2012, a strategic decision was made to start the construction of the Data Center, and construction will begin in September 2015. DC, with accompanying facilities in the newly built facility, provides the necessary infrastructure for future development and a stronger market position of the company.

At the beginning of 2012, we became the owners of the plot in the technology park in Vršac, and in December 2018, the newly built production and business facility for the production of IT equipment was ceremoniously opened, as well as the first ecological DATA CENTER in Serbia.
